Artist's Work

Partha’s career spanned the vast landscape of Indian Fine art, where he expertly explored diverse forms and mastered various mediums. In the latter part of the decade, Partha focused on mastering various forms of folk Indian artwork. Through extensive travels to cultural hubs like Raghurajpur in Orissa, the Sundarbans in Bengal, Ajanta in Maharashtra, etc. he developed a distinct style rooted in Indian rural art traditions.

Even when a cerebral attack in 2017 limited his vision, his creative spirit remained unbroken. After that, Partha entered his most honest chapter, his portfolio reflects a mastery of Madhubani/Mithila Painting, Warli art, Gond art, and Patachitra art paintings, blending these techniques into a unique collection of Indian contemporary artwork forms that captures the essence of rural India.
