The Krishna Series depicted the artist’s realization of the innate hypocrisy of human relationships. He used the symbolism of Krishna orchestrating the tune of love and life. Here, Krishna is not the great strategist but a naïve boy from the land he left behind. The artist transcended the two-dimensional form, and his flute went beyond the boundaries of the canvas. It is here that one can see the glimpses of his experiments of illusion with realism.
