The Sekal-Ekal (Then and Now) Series continued his belief that a divine force is present in all women around him. Meanwhile, his paintings also portrayed the change in the family dynamics. As time progressed, with the disintegration of family and migration to various cities, filial relations began to change. This was the main theme of the Sekal-Ekal (Then and Now) Series. This series was also showcased in the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, India.
